The IES Lifetime Engineering Achievement Award, first conferred in 2013, recognises and honours outstanding engineering leaders whose lifetime accomplishments and achievements have made profound impact within his or her engineering discipline, industry and community; and who has brought national or international honours to Singapore. It is the most prestigious award presented by The Institution of Engineers, Singapore.

The award recipient represents a role model of engineering achievement for which future generations of engineers can aspire to match or exceed.

 

Award Criteria

• The nominee must be an engineer who has demonstrated noteworthy achievements, made immense contributions, possesses leadership qualities, and has a long-term commitment to excellence in engineering.
• The nominee has been practising engineering throughout his whole career.
• He or she must be a resident of Singapore for at least 15 years.
